The Saskatchewan Down Syndrome Society is creating opportunities for people with Down syndrome and their families and friends:
- Resources and videos - Many families have access to physical and speech therapists, but most early learning takes place at home. Through our resources and video library, we are helping parents be their children’s best teacher.
- Networking - New parents sometimes feel overwhelmed and isolated upon learning that their child has Down syndrome. Through the events that we hold, we help families see the opportunity they have to raise a child who will make positive contributions to society.
- Awareness - Through education, advocacy and public communications, we are building inclusive opportunities for participation in communities that value people with disabilities.
We hope you will support our goals. We invite you to donate by mail or online.
